Responsibilities

  • Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSE and implement HSE rules and requirements within the area of responsibility.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, means, and tools for efficient scheduling, progress control, and reporting activities.
  • Define a suitable Work Breakdown Structure that meets Project needs for progress control, cost control, and reporting.
  • Liaise with Cost Controllers to ensure consistency of information.
  • Develop, update, and revise overall Package schedules as required by Package Management.
  • Assist Packages Management in reviewing and commenting on contractors’ procedures and schedules.
  • Analyze and perform ‘what-if’ simulations and propose corrective actions when Project milestones are threatened.
  • Define a suitable Monthly Report structure that complies with Concessionaire/Partners and Project needs.
  • Perform reporting activities as directed by the EPC Project Controls Leader.
  • Develop Project Monthly and Weekly Reports during all phases of the Project.
  • Support Package and Construction Management in scheduling and progress reporting.
  • Report timely to the Project Control Leader and the Lead planner, highlighting progress and areas of concern.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent in an Engineering discipline or Construction Technology area.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in projects, with at least 5 years in planning projects in Oil & Gas and/or Infrastructure industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera.
  • Well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
  • Able to coordinate and work with other teams and possess basic multi-disciplinary knowledge.
  • Must be able to work independently and proactively interact with discipline teams to obtain information.
  • Ability to react quickly and decisively to changing demands and circumstances.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems within the scope of the role.
  • Willingness to effectively challenge the views of contractors and internal contacts.
