Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of technical goods and services to meet specific requirements, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers while contributing to cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage the purchase of technical components.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce overall procurement costs.
- Ensure that purchased goods and services meet required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages and price fluctuations.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders and supplier performance data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities for improving procurement processes and enhancing efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Contracts & Procurement, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation management skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is an added advantage.
