Job Responsibilities
- Design surveys, conduct field tests, and refine survey instruments.
- Analyze data and generate reports to provide actionable insights.
- Manage the in-country MEL team, supporting over 60 part-time Enumerators.
- Mentor M&E managers through field visits and professional reviews.
- Supervise critical M&E activities to maintain high data quality standards.
- Address survey data quality issues promptly.
- Recruit and develop M&E staff, including conducting training sessions and addressing performance issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing research tools, implementing evaluations, and managing teams.
- Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of evaluation techniques such as regressions and propensity score matching.
- Experience with statistical software, preferably STATA or R.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili is a plus.
