Marie Stopes Tanzania (MST) is a social enterprise and a prominent provider of family planning and reproductive health services. MST collaborates with the Government of Tanzania and is part of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in 36 countries worldwide.
Job Summary:
| Education: | Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Medical Laboratory Science/Public Health, or related field. |
| Experience: | At least 5 years in medical/pharmaceutical sales supervision or field sales management. |
| Working Hours: | Full-time |
Job Responsibility:
- Oversee and ensure coordination of primary and secondary sales activities within the commercial department.
- Enforce accountability and track stock movement between Marie Stopes, distributors, sales representatives, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Maintain a central sales dashboard to monitor performance by distributor, product, region, and period.
- Supervise sales representatives’ distribution to wholesalers and retailers, ensuring sales authenticity and product visibility.
- Conduct physical spot-checks and retail outlet visits.
- Maintain integrated reporting mechanisms for sales data and ensure weekly updates of performance dashboards.
- Enforce compliance with product storage and handling standards.
- Collaborate with logistics, commercial, and M&E teams to streamline data flow and resolve field-level issues.
Qualifications and Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Medical Laboratory Science/Public Health, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical sales supervision or field sales management.
- Experience in managing multi-tiered distribution models.
- Familiarity with NGOs or social marketing organizations is desirable.
- Strong skills in sales tracking, stock verification, and route-to-market analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
