Responsibilities
- Set and demonstrate high standards for service and collaboration, empowering stakeholders, including farmers and field teams.
- Oversee the aggregation and purchase of fresh produce, ensuring compliance with international quality standards.
- Manage the quality of fresh produce from farm gate to delivery, implementing systems to minimize spoilage and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with packhouse teams for consistent quality control aligned with international certification standards.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in horticultural products and analyze market trends to inform decision-making.
- Provide clear reporting on sourcing plans and evaluate the performance of buyer representatives regarding produce quality and quantity.
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, aggregators, and stakeholders, collaborating with teams to align sourcing strategies with company objectives.
- Mentor and lead field staff, fostering a team focused on quality assurance and operational success.
