Job Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with EWURA regulations and company standards.
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring following OSHA Tanzania safety guidelines.
- Quickly troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform testing, calibration, and inspection of electrical systems to meet statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records.
- Collaborate with supervisors and project engineers to adhere to project schedules.
- Install and maintain power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems in industrial and construction settings.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental practices in daily operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a Tanzanian National.
- VETA Certificate in Electrical Installation / Electrical Engineering (minimum Grade I, II, or III depending on role level).
- Trade Test Certificate recognized by Tanzania’s Ministry of Labour, Youth, Employment & Persons with Disability.
- Ordinary Diploma or FTC in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory for senior roles).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on industrial or construction projects.
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with Tanzania’s Electrical Installation Regulations and EWURA standards.
- Valid EWURA Electrical Installation License (mandatory).

The deadline for applications is on or before 10th September 2025 at 17:30 hours East African Time (EAT).
