Job Responsibilities

Channel Onboarding

  • Establish new partners on the Airtel Money system, ensuring compliance with business processes and timelines.
  • Collect and verify all necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documents and ensure approval from the Airtel Money Risk & Compliance team.
  • Conduct preliminary checks on KYC documentation and communicate necessary corrections to partners.
  • Input partner account details into the Airtel Money system and oversee the account creation process.
  • Notify partners upon account creation and assist with the activation process.
  • File application forms in the Airtel Money system and maintain hard copies.
  • Address requests as they arise.
  • Ensure partners are onboarded with the correct approved tariffs.

Float Management

  • Verify deposit slips and transfers before allocating float to partner accounts.
  • Confirm with Finance that partner accounts are credited with the initial float.
  • Ensure smooth float automation and resolve issues with banks as needed.
  • Maintain liquidity in key wallets to prevent business interruptions.
  • Automate additional trust bank channels to eliminate manual float purchases.

Partner Support

  • Align with partners and stakeholders on support processes to address issues.
  • Coordinate the resolution of partner queries through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Respond promptly to partner issues to maintain healthy relationships.
  • Monitor key partner services proactively to prevent interruptions.
  • Assist with partners’ bank sweep configurations and fund movements.
  • Support partners with commission payments.

Processes and Controls

  • Conduct quarterly reviews of processes related to partner onboarding and configurations.
  • Perform key controls for channel partner onboarding, including KYC reviews.
  • Ensure secure storage and easy retrieval of KYC documents.
  • Process partner payments promptly after Finance approval.
  • Support internal and external audits of channel partners.

Airtel Money Reports

  • Generate float reports to track purchases through various channels.
  • Create onboarding reports detailing weekly and monthly onboarding statistics.
  • Maintain a complaints register to track issues and resolution timelines.
  • Extract and share reports on logged issues, tracking their resolution status.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Participate in testing for process improvements related to partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Keep relevant parties informed of work progress and present complex information clearly.

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.

Relevant Experience

  • 1 year of experience in administration.
  • 2 years of experience in financial or telecommunications is advantageous.

  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
