KCB Bank Tanzania is a prominent financial institution providing a range of banking services in the region.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare internal audit reports for the Board Audit Committee on a quarterly basis, reviewed by the Head of Audit and Managing Director.
Develop the annual audit plan for KCB Bank, subject to review and approval by the Board Audit Committee.
Track remediation of control gaps identified during audits and reviews.
Facilitate external audit reviews and regulatory examinations, ensuring recommendations are tracked and addressed.
Coordinate the External Quality Assessment of the Internal Audit Function and follow up on recommendations.
Participate in the execution of internal audits for branch operations and head office departments.
Represent the Head of Internal Audit in management meetings.
Conduct quarterly reviews of the bank’s financial statements prior to publication.
Ensure quality assurance by reviewing team members’ work for compliance with audit methodologies and professional standards.
Engage in continuous business monitoring to identify current and emerging risks and relevant management controls.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Academic & Professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Required)
- CPA (Required)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (Added Advantage)
- CIA, CISA (Added Advantage)
Experience:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in external and/or internal audit
- 4 years in external and internal audit (Essential)
- 3 years in audit team management (Essential)
- 3 years in report writing (Essential)
- 3 years in data analytics (Essential)
