Job Responsibility
- Conduct surprise checks across branches regarding cash management, cards, pin mailers, cheque books, banker’s cheques, and compliance on accounts opened.
- Perform branch visits to monitor operational compliance and provide guidance to branch staff on compliance issues.
- Ensure adherence to all bank policies and procedures in daily branch operations.
- Verify that branch ATMs are properly reconciled.
- Resolve any discrepancies found during ATM reconciliations.
- Review overdrawn and internal accounts.
- Follow up on the resolution of branch operational issues that affect operational excellence.
- Participate as a member of the project committee during core banking system upgrades or new product development.
Qualifications and Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in management or a related area.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
