Responsibilities

  • Implement the Inspection Plans for equipment including PSD, pipelines, and related structures.
  • Manage equipment registers, scheduling, reporting, and remedial actions using CMIMS.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety Rules, Inspection Plans, and Technical Procedures during inspections.
  • Coordinate inspection activities on-site and supervise inspection contractors.
  • Assist third-party representatives with statutory inspections.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, including analysis and recommendations.
  • Develop and review pipeline inspection and corrosion guidance documents.
  • Propose recommendations for corrective actions regarding materials and design.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations for repairs, modifications, and equipment procurement.
  • Participate in technical audits of contracted companies.
  • Update data for Risk-based inspection tools.
  • Act as the focal point for pipeline inspection and corrosion management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Materials Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas processes, equipment, and pipeline technology.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards related to inspection (ASME, API, NACE).
  • Understanding of materials, metallurgy, welding, corrosion, and inspection techniques.
  • Experience with Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology.
  • Proficient in CMIMS and Fitness for Service assessment methods.
  • ERB Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred.
  • Experience in RBI software and database management.
  • Experience in corrosion analysis and pipeline inspection.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English is an advantage.
