Education	University degree in agricultural sciences with skills in agribusiness management
Experience	5+ years in a similar role
Working Hours	Full-time

Recruit growers and acreage to meet agreed tonnage of brewing cereals and starch sources, primarily barley, sorghum, and maize.
Source raw materials cost-effectively to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Identify and mitigate risks in local raw material sourcing across various time horizons.
Establish partnerships with reliable vendors and suppliers, including diverse suppliers.
Utilize digital farming platforms to maintain accurate records and ensure traceability in sourcing regions.
Provide technical agricultural extension services and post-harvest training to growers as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders and value chain actors to meet targets and assess potential yields and storage needs.
Ensure timely reporting and effective management of company assets.
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local and Diageo policies.
Communicate company policies related to agribusiness operations to local authorities and community leaders.

A university degree in agricultural sciences with additional skills in agribusiness management.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong business acumen and agility.
Experience in contract farming and collaboration with smallholder and commercial farmers.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
Solid understanding of agriculture value chains, agribusiness finance, and Climate Smart Agriculture in Tanzania.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Experience in farmer engagement, training, and capacity building.
