Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

The research assistants will:

1. Transcribe qualitative data concurrently during data collection, meeting daily targets.
2. Submit daily reports and transcriptions for quality checks.
3. Incorporate supervisor feedback to enhance transcription quality.
4. Participate in team meetings and collaborative activities.
5. Identify and address potential obstacles to timely task completion, communicating unresolved challenges.
6. Maintain regular communication with team leads and other members.
7. Ensure the safety and security of project materials and personnel during activities.
8. Show respect for all individuals during and after project execution.
9. Perform additional tasks as assigned by team leads.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection methods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Kiswahili and English.
• Ability to travel within assigned regions and work independently.
• Understanding of Tanzania’s service delivery and leadership at various levels.
• Familiarity with health systems or supply chain concepts is an added advantage.
