Job Responsibilities
The research assistants will:
- Transcribe qualitative data concurrently during data collection, meeting daily targets.
- Submit daily reports and transcriptions for quality checks.
- Incorporate supervisor feedback to enhance transcription quality.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborative activities.
- Identify and address potential obstacles to timely task completion, communicating unresolved challenges.
- Maintain regular communication with team leads and other members.
- Ensure the safety and security of project materials and personnel during activities.
- Show respect for all individuals during and after project execution.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by team leads.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Kiswahili and English.
- Ability to travel within assigned regions and work independently.
- Understanding of Tanzania’s service delivery and leadership at various levels.
- Familiarity with health systems or supply chain concepts is an added advantage.
