Job Summary

Education Bachelor’s degree in Research methods, Statistics, Economics, Agronomy, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience 2+ years in research design, evaluation, data analysis, and team management

Job Responsibilities

  • Design surveys, conduct field tests, and refine survey instruments.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to provide actionable insights.
  • Manage the in-country MEL team, supporting over 60 part-time Enumerators.
  • Mentor M&E managers through field visits and professional reviews.
  • Supervise critical M&E activities to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Address survey data quality issues promptly.
  • Recruit and develop M&E staff, including conducting training sessions and addressing performance issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing research tools, implementing evaluations, and managing teams.
  • Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of evaluation techniques such as regressions and propensity score matching.
  • Experience with statistical software, preferably STATA or R.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Swahili is a plus.
