Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders regarding risk management, internal controls, and governance.
• Present quarterly audit results to National Leadership and local Audit and Risk Committees.
• Supervise a team of Regional Senior Auditors and Regional Auditors.
• Support the development of a five-year risk-based regional internal audit plan.
• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets for the Regional Audit Team.
• Ensure quality of internal audit activities within the sub-regional portfolio.
• Support investigations of fraud allegations and unethical conduct.
• Drive the development and implementation of a combined assurance model.
• Enhance the performance framework of the GAA Regional Team.
• Evaluate and communicate audit outcomes to leadership.
• Drive innovation in communication and project management within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• CPA and/or Chartered Financial Accountant or equivalent certification.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
• Five years of internal or external audit experience, with three years in a managerial role.
• Strong relationship-building skills at senior levels.
• Ability to think strategically and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
