Job Responsibilities
- Manage cash operations, including supplier payments, cash collections from cashiers, and petty cash handling.
- Oversee bank transactions, ensuring daily cash sales are deposited promptly and perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring physical counts match system records and addressing expired or defective items.
- Track raw material usage for bakery production and analyze productivity metrics.
- Maintain a fixed asset register to ensure proper management of company assets.
- Manage supplier data, particularly for credit terms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax and regulatory requirements for supermarkets and bakeries.
- Prepare timely financial reports and assist with audits, ensuring clean audit outcomes.
- Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the manager to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized institute/college in Tanzania; CPA is an advantage.
- Willingness to work long hours.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Ability to start on short notice.
- Preference for residents of Kimara or Mbezi.
