Job Responsibility
The Sales Executive is responsible for maximizing sales revenue through collaboration with distributors, dealers, and other partners within the assigned territory. This role involves monitoring stock levels, identifying distribution gaps, and generating revenue by closing sales directly with customers, primarily through face-to-face interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales and revenue targets through collaboration with distributors and dealers.
2. Implement sales and distribution activities within the territory.
3. Coordinate product distribution to ensure continuous availability.
4. Manage the distribution of promotional materials to enhance visibility and loyalty.
5. Identify trade promotion requirements and recommend actions.
6. Support promotional activities in the territory.
7. Monitor competitor activity and provide recommendations.
8. Collaborate with distribution partners to develop action plans for target achievement.
9. Coach and monitor dealer staff.
10. Train distribution partners on Vodacom’s products and services.
11. Ensure compliance with retail execution and distributor operating standards.
12. Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales trend reports.
13. Generate performance reports for dealers and market intelligence on competitors.
Qualifications and Requirements
• University Degree or equivalent training in business or sales management
• Ability to work under pressure with short-term targets
• High level of integrity and work ethics
• Proficient in presentation skills and computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience in a performance-driven organization
• Clean Driving License
• Knowledge of Vodacom’s products/services and pricing practices
• Strong business acumen
