Job Summary
The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the development, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment and medical devices, ensuring their safety and functionality for both internal and external clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and maintain equipment used in various medical facilities.
- Design, develop, test, and modify products, equipment, and devices.
- Manage calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Conduct training on safe equipment usage.
- Implement measures to prevent malfunctions of biomedical equipment.
- Provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Assess the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Research and identify new procedures and materials to enhance biomedical products and equipment.
- Manage registration of new equipment with relevant authorities such as TMDA.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
- At least one year of relevant working experience.
