Duties & Responsibilities:
Plant
- Maintain the bottling plant by checking filters.
- Initiate quarterly water testing and provide lab samples.
- Conduct pH testing of the water.
- Report any faults observed in the bottling unit and filters.
- Notify any changes in water quality.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the bottling plant.
- Handle bottling equipment with care.
- Perform quarterly maintenance of the plant.
Bottling
- Ensure bottles are clean and hygienic.
- Report any defective bottles and request replacements.
- Maintain a tally of all site bottles.
- Fill and distribute bottled water on site.
- Report faulty dispensers and initiate repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure dispensers are maintained quarterly.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) during work, including gloves, apron, dust coat, and gumboots.
Health and Safety Management
- Adhere to site Health and Safety procedures and participate in toolbox/safety meetings.
Fire Safety
- Respond appropriately to all alarms as per fire drill procedures.
Environment
- Support energy conservation and waste reduction efforts.
- Enforce waste segregation and maintain a clean environment.
- Ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
- Support sustainability initiatives on site.
