Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Performance Management
- Lead the development, monitoring, and execution of the Bank’s strategic plans.
- Cascade aligned objectives across departments to enhance performance.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for the Bank’s strategic objectives.
- Stay informed of industry trends to maintain competitive services.
- Act as a subject matter expert on strategy for business units.
- Prepare monthly updates for the CEO and Board.
Business Transformation & Operational Efficiency
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across business units.
- Analyze processes to implement effective solutions for operational efficiency.
- Lead project planning and execution for transformation initiatives.
- Oversee financial diagnostics to find cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives.
- Review contracts to identify renegotiation opportunities.
Change Management & Culture Building
- Drive a high-performance culture through balanced scorecards.
- Lead change management initiatives for successful project adoption.
- Engage stakeholders through communication and support.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Innovation, Digital Transformation & Customer Experience
- Spearhead the Bank’s innovation and digital transformation strategy.
- Champion digital solutions to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with technology officers to integrate customer feedback.
- Lead customer engagement and marketing strategies.
- Leverage market research to optimize customer journeys.
Governance, Budgeting & Reporting
- Participate in departmental budget preparation and management.
- Set strategy benchmarks and monitor performance.
- Follow up on strategic actions and validate solution quality.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A University degree in business or a related field.
- A relevant postgraduate or professional qualification is an advantage.
- At least 7 years of work experience, with 2 years in analysis.
- Ability to analyze business opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Strong digital awareness and exposure.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented.
