Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in History and Swahili in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations to ensure strong academic outcomes.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment that fosters learning.
- Regularly monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Uphold high standards of child protection and safeguarding practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience within the Cambridge curriculum.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing students for IGCSE exams, with a proven record of good performance.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Completed training in Child Protection.
- Registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) with a valid registration number.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
