About the Job
Namonet Solution Limited is looking for an experienced LAN Technician to work across Kakamega, Bungoma, and Busia counties. The role involves setting up, configuring, and maintaining LAN infrastructure, including Cat6 cabling, RJ45 terminations, and GPON router configuration. This is a contract-based, full-time role requiring a solid understanding of networking technology.

Basic Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs).
- Run and terminate Cat6 cables and RJ45 connectors.
- Configure GPON routers and other basic networking hardware.
- Perform LAN testing and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Crimp and label network cables accurately.
- Carry out routine maintenance and upgrades of LAN infrastructure.
- Assist in minor electrical layout assessments for network deployment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in LAN installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Cat6 cabling, RJ45 connectors, and networking basics.
- Ability to configure routers and perform basic network setups.
- Proficiency with crimping tools and cable testing equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems related to network installations.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
