Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating suitable recipes and provide instructional support in the Culinary Arts Kitchen Workshop.
- Maintain and secure all culinary arts equipment, resources, and materials.
- Support Hospitality lecturers by preparing teaching aids for classes and laboratories.
- Assist students with practical instruction and materials development under lecturer supervision.
- Manage food product inventory, kitchen supplies, and the culinary arts garden.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment for students.
- Supervise students during practical sessions and offer tutoring support.
- Assist with the procurement of food products and timely submission of receipts and documentation.
- Participate in professional development and college recruitment activities, such as career days.
- Support administrative and academic tasks, including reporting and compliance with academic policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Head, Head of Division, or Campus Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NCV Level 4/Grade 12, or a Diploma in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Cookery, Hotel and Catering Management, Nutrition, Food Science, Food Service Management, or a relevant hospitality qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of culinary arts.
