Job Summary

Education Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience 2–3 years in HR management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
Working Hours Full-time position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees.
  • Maintain updated job descriptions, employment contracts, and personnel records.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related issues.
  • Manage conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and Rwandan labor law.
  • Develop initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Support managers in implementing performance management systems, appraisals, and KPIs.
  • Provide guidance on employee career development and succession planning.
  • Assess training needs, plan capacity-building programs, and track employee development.
  • Organize orientation programs for new staff and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee files, HR databases, and payroll information.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
  • Draft and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave records, disciplinary cases, training) to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of Rwandan labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, HRIS or ERP systems is an added advantage).
