Established in Ethiopia in 2014, the company specializes in manufacturing infant and baby wear clothing for export to the USA. With seven factories in the Bole Lemi Industrial Park, JAY JAY TEXTILES undertakes contract manufacturing for its major shareholder, Addis Ventures Private Limited.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement method improvement and standardization programs.
- Weekly assessment of line capacity.
- Conduct operator multiskilling and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to finalize machine layouts before production starts.
- Establish and maintain workplace arrangements to meet world-class standards.
- Prepare employee incentives accurately and punctually.
- Maintain AB% and LTO% below 4% in the area.
- Ensure daily timeline balancing is upheld.
- Verify that the current workforce aligns with the system records.
- Monitor line capacity and efficiency weekly.
- Identify bottleneck operations and enhance line capacity.
- Pre-plan operator replacements as necessary.
- Request resign replacements and assist operators in reaching required performance levels.
- Identify low-performing operators and provide targeted training for improvement.
- Accurately prepare incentive amounts for each line based on daily system claims.
- Implement best practices in production, including 5’s, Kaizen, lean concepts, and ISO standards.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are consistently maintained and address any behaviors that may pose risks.
