Ifakara Health Institute is looking for a qualified Field Worker to assist with the Sub-TB project by following up with participants at clinics and their homes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-ups with household members of patients at their homes.
- Collect samples (blood and sputum) from participants.
- Reconsent participants as necessary.
- Identify and manage adverse and severe adverse events.
- Assist in the initial development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in nursing, laboratory, or medicine.
- Experience in research activities.
- Proficient in riding a motorbike.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong patient management skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
