Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of automobile mechanics engaged in the repair, adjustment, servicing, and storage of company vehicles.
- Analyze defective equipment to identify the cause of issues.
- Inspect and drive repaired vehicles to confirm the quality of repairs.
- Evaluate the performance of team members.
- Maintain inventory of repair parts and equipment, and requisition replacement stock as needed.
- Prepare repair reports and vehicle requests.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity within an automotive repair or maintenance setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and technical skills related to vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management and supplier coordination.
