Vodacom Retail Administrator

Cellular Citi Group is the largest Vodacom franchise dealer in KZN, now expanding to Gauteng with new premium outlets. We aim to provide a world-class customer experience and seek an experienced Retail Administrator to enhance our operations.

Salary R7 000 – R8 500 per month

Key Responsibilities

Store Readiness & Operations

  • Ensure all staff tools, computers, and devices are operational daily.
  • Manage stationery, cleanliness, and store presentation.
  • Oversee daily rosters, waste management, and readiness checks.
  • Participate in daily meetings to align and motivate staff.

Back Office & Administration

  • Facilitate communication between back office and sales floor.
  • Efficiently issue devices and SIM stock to sales staff.
  • Process contracts, upgrades, and insurance claims while ensuring compliance with Vodacom rules.
  • Reconcile daily paperwork with till receipts and system entries.
  • Conduct daily customer care and follow-up calls for activations and escalations.
  • Document all sales, prepaid claims, migrations, and client follow-ups.
  • Manage filing, sales reports, and customer complaint resolutions.

Repairs & Stock Control

  • Process device repairs and manage customer loan devices.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with repair centers and customers.
  • Assist with stock checks and aged stock management.
  • Provide updated stock-on-hand reports to the team.

HR & Staff Support

  • Assist Store Manager with time management and staff registers.
  • Manage staff uniforms and create fair tea/lunch rosters.
  • Support biometric clocking via Trac Tech.

Sales Support

  • Assist sales staff with upgrade eligibility and insurance offers.
  • Provide quotes to customers on connectivity options.
  • Support the sales floor as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of administration experience in a Vodacom Retail Store.
  • Proficiency in Vodacom systems (MII, C3D, Skyline, VPP).
  • Strong Excel skills (filtering, sorting, reporting).
  • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work shifts (retail mall hours):
    • Shift 1: 08:00 – 17:00
    • Shift 2: 11:30 – 19:45 (Trading hours: Mon–Thu until 19:30, Fri–Sat until 20:00, Sun & Public Holidays until 18:00)
  • Code 08/10 driver’s license with own vehicle (advantage).
  • Relevant certificate/qualification (preferred).
