Job Responsibility
The Junior Accountant will provide daily financial and administrative support to ensure smooth operations at ACE, adhering to internal financial manuals, HR policies, and legal frameworks in the country.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A CGPA of 3.00 or higher is mandatory.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or administration.
- Good understanding of Ethiopian tax, payroll, pension, and financial reporting requirements.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Fluency in English and Amharic, with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
- Familiarity with Peachtree/Sage and other accounting software is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Integrity and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
