Responsibilities
- Support the EPcmC staff and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of the pipeline and associated facilities.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to local personnel, coordinating with training providers for performance monitoring.
- Implement and communicate safe work practices on project sites.
- Promote the principles of ‘Life’ and Zero Harm within the project delivery.
- Engage with project leadership and staff regarding HSE roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate with Project R3 for cross-functional engagement.
- Ensure compliance with HSE management systems and processes.
- Review contractors’ HSE procedures and documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct HSE compliance audits and surveillance reviews as needed.
- Monitor and manage HSE activities of contracted inspection services.
- Expedite field reporting on construction progress against HSE KPIs.
- Maintain databases for HSE reports and compliance audits.
- Act as the lead representative for presenting HSE systems to auditors.
- Review safety inspection reports and ensure compliance with deliverables.
- Schedule H&S supervisors for site HSE moments and toolbox talks.
- Participate in incident investigations and reviews as required.
- Attend project meetings to verify HSE metrics and KPIs.
- Coordinate compliance reviews of contractors according to the surveillance plan.
- Inspect equipment and installations for HSE compliance.
- Provide ethical support within a multicultural business framework.
- Mentor exemplary behavior regarding HSE and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an internationally recognized HSE Certificate.
- 5 years of experience in onshore pipeline and related facilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety compliance and risk controls.
- Strong focus on project deliverables and HSE objectives.
- Knowledge of project HSE strategy and field safety inspections.
- Proficient in interpreting HSE plans, policies, and regulations.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with PTW systems and approval processes.
- Effective communication skills for articulating safety concerns.
- Experience working with multicultural contractors.
- Staff management experience with mentoring techniques.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Competency in industry applications such as Assure, OMIE, Aconex, SharePoint, and MS Office.
