Job Responsibilities
- Develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present clear financial statements, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Design and implement effective financial processes and controls.
- Manage the organization’s investments to ensure optimal returns and minimize risk.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and legal requirements.
- Manage and mentor finance staff, overseeing their performance and development.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.
- Manage the organization’s cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments.
- Interact and manage relationships with suppliers, consultants, and customers.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A business degree or a relevant qualification.
- Fully qualified (CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or in advanced stages of completion.
- Over 7 years of working experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate a finance team.
- Strategic thinking for financial matters and long-term planning.
- Problem-solving skills to address financial issues.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with Big 4 audit firms is an advantage.
