Job Summary
The Biomedical Engineer is tasked with the development, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment and medical devices, ensuring their safety and functionality. This role involves both in-house activities and external services for TMHS customers requiring calibration, consultancy, and maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and maintain equipment used in various medical facilities.
- Design, develop, test, and modify products, equipment, and devices.
- Manage calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Conduct training on safe equipment usage.
- Implement measures to prevent malfunctions of biomedical equipment.
- Provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Assess the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Research and identify new procedures, materials, and resources to improve biomedical products and equipment.
- Manage registration of new equipment with relevant authorities such as TMDA.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
- At least one year of working experience.
