Job Responsibility

  • Implement Department of Health policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
  • Manage Reception Services and Registry functions effectively.
  • Provide quality client service and support.
  • Oversee data management processes.
  • Manage SCM functions and office equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
  • Relevant administrative experience in reception.
  • Experience in Patient Registration, Records Management, and Archiving policies.
  • Knowledge of Health Information Systems (PHCIS, Sinjani, Tier.Net/ETR, and Ideal Clinic data capturing).
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to rotate between Reception and Information Management departments.
  • Willingness to provide relief at other facilities within the Hessequa Sub-district.
  • Knowledge of Registry, Reception Services, Medical Records, Disposal, and Record Management policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
