Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Reports to: Director / General Manager
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience: 3–5 years in HR management
Working Hours: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection across various business units.
  • Lead employee onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
  • Oversee payroll administration, benefits, and statutory contributions.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions professionally.
  • Administer performance appraisal systems to enhance accountability.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for team growth.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for management review.
  • Advise management on workforce planning and HR trends.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (diploma holders with strong experience may be considered).
  • 3–5 years of HR management experience, preferably in hospitality, FMCG, or production sectors.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with payroll systems and HR software (Odoo experience is a plus).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
