Job Responsibility

The Programme Implementation Area Manager (PIAM) is accountable for leading and coordinating the delivery of Plan International’s programs and operations within a designated area. This includes managing interventions in child protection, education, youth economic empowerment, sexual and reproductive health rights, and humanitarian responses, in alignment with the organization’s strategy and commitments. The PIAM ensures quality program delivery, operational efficiency, staff wellbeing, risk management, safeguarding compliance, and fosters partnerships with local government and civil society.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in program management and implementation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Relevant educational background in social sciences, development studies, or related fields.
