Job Summary

Job Title: Procurement Officer
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Procurement and Supply Chain
Working Hours: Full-time

Job Responsibility

  • Source suppliers and prequalify them according to company policies.
  • Conduct procurement functions for the company and its employees in line with approved policies.
  • Engage in continuous development and improvement of procurement processes to reduce costs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure all procurement-related documents are properly filed and maintained.
  • Keep procurement process management tools up to date and accurately maintained.
  • Support fleet and health, safety, and environmental management.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain or a similar role.
  • Experience in supplier sourcing, fleet, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, bargaining, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word; advanced knowledge in SAP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Kiswahili.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
