Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and quality assurance for youth empowerment activities.
- Conduct field visits and meetings to support project implementation and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
- Establish a monitoring system to assess the effectiveness of youth empowerment interventions.
- Collaborate with country teams to design innovative youth programs based on context and needs.
- Participate in project design and contribute to proposal development, including budget preparation.
- Represent BRAC International in meetings with donors and partners.
- Support country teams during the grant kick-off process and engage in grant review meetings.
- Assist with budget reviews, monitoring, and donor reports.
- Plan and facilitate capacity-building activities for staff involved in youth empowerment projects.
- Document and share implementation experiences and engage in advocacy efforts.
- Implement safeguarding measures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Youth Development, Education, Social Science, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in NGOs, preferably in youth development programs.
- Technical expertise in youth empowerment and life skills curriculum development.
- Knowledge of development challenges in the Global South, particularly in Asia and Africa.
- Ability to connect youth programming with social and economic opportunities.
- Experience in participatory approaches and capacity-building initiatives.
- Strong communication and report writing skills in English.
- Experience in managing partnerships with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google online tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
