Finance Clerk (Production): Management Accounting – Ref No: 290925/05

Salary: R228 321 per annum (Level 05)

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
  • Basic knowledge of financial practices and functions.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to capture data and use Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attributes: accountability, integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.
  • Prior finance experience will be an added advantage.

Key Duties

  • Receive and distribute salary advices to employees.
  • Capture supplementary employee payments.
  • Process payments to service providers and maintain an invoice register.
  • Ensure creditors are paid within 30 days.
  • Adhere to financial policies and procedures within the section.
  • Handle vendor enquiries.
  • Scan paid invoices into SAP.
  • Order and distribute stationery.
  • File all face-value documents systematically and accurately.
  • Provide documentation for audit purposes and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with budget compilation and prepare budget reports.

  • Proficiency in data capturing, computer operations, and Excel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Personal attributes: accountability, integrity, honesty, and ethical behaviour.
  • Finance-related experience will be advantageous.

Key Duties

  • Distribute salary advices to staff.
  • Capture supplementary payments for employees.
  • Process supplier payments and manage the invoice register.
  • Ensure creditors are paid within required timelines (30 days).
  • Comply with departmental financial procedures.
  • Respond to vendor queries.
  • Upload paid invoices to SAP.
  • Manage stationery orders and distribution.
  • File financial documents systematically.
  • Provide audit samples and support compliance processes.
  • Assist with budget preparation and generate budget reports.
