Job Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair forklifts (electric, petrol, gas, diesel).
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Provide on-site breakdown support to clients across Cape Town.
- Maintain accurate service logs, time sheets, and travel reports.
- Keep your service vehicle well-equipped and professional.
- Uphold workshop efficiency, teamwork, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Grade 12 and Forklift Technician Trade Certificate (non-negotiable).
- RED SEAL certification highly advantageous.
- Skilled in diagnostics, repairs, and use of tools/manuals.
- Valid forklift license and driver’s license (essential).
- Physically fit to handle machinery, lift parts, and access equipment.
- Independent worker with strong problem-solving skills and team spirit.
