Job Responsibilities
- Achieve a daily sales target of 50 chicks and promote fertilized eggs and table birds.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities across the six target counties.
- Build and maintain relationships with poultry farmers, agro-dealers, and institutional buyers.
- Dedicate 60% of working time to customer outreach, engagement, and sales in the field.
- Spend 40% of time on farm-based activities such as reporting, observing birds, and product familiarization.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing recommendations for marketing strategies.
- Submit accurate sales reports and actionable recommendations for sales and marketing improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or preferred Bachelor’s in Marketing, Agribusiness, Animal Science, or Business Administration (Marketing).
- Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, CRM, or Agricultural Extension are advantageous.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in sales/marketing in agribusiness or FMCG, with 3-5 years preferred.
- Experience working with farmers or agro-dealers in rural settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and digital marketing skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets with minimal supervision.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual.
- Able to deliver under pressure.
