Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate consultations between the project and Project-Affected Households (PAHs).
- Support Zonal Training and Coordination Leads at project events and community meetings.
- Communicate with stakeholders as per the Stakeholders Engagement Plan.
- Maintain community awareness of project activities.
- Train PAHs in poultry management, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
- Identify buyers for poultry products and connect them with PAHs.
- Engage vulnerable PAHs to ensure they receive project support.
- Welcome external visitors to communities appropriately.
- Support program delivery through training and extension visits.
- Facilitate engagement between communities and stakeholders.
- Collect data on project-related issues and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Participate in review meetings and adhere to ethical data collection principles.
- Update stakeholder engagement records daily.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
- Minimum diploma in Social Sciences, Law, or Community Development.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and community relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic office software.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in rural areas.
