Job Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce QA policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and local building codes.
- Lead internal audits and prepare for external inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
- Work with project managers to integrate QA into project planning and execution.
- Oversee document control and maintain traceability of QA records.
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
- Supervise site inspections for materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
- Approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure their execution.
- Validate material certifications and conduct third-party testing as necessary.
- Review and approve quality reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and punch lists.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients on QC matters and approvals.
- Lead and mentor the QA/QC team across multiple project sites.
- Conduct training sessions on quality standards and best practices.
- Set KPIs and monitor the performance of quality personnel.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
- Analyze trends in defects, rework, and audit findings to drive improvements.
- Participate in strategic planning for quality enhancement across the company.
- Stay updated on industry innovations and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 10+ years of experience in QA/QC roles, including 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
- Preferred certifications include ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and PMP.
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and Risk Management.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
